Usb wireless hub for mac

I have just purchased one that arrived today and have already noticed problems. I have tried multiple USB hubs for the past 1 to 2 years but they have all failed to work reliably. In addition I prefer to have the USB ports facing the front instead of the back so I have easier access to them. There are only a limited number of USB ports on my Mac Pro and I need more.

I have experienced a problem and can't seem to find a good solution for it.
